I have worked at the Agnew Shoes store in the mall. I helped wait on the Customers.
I did Volunteer work at the Extendicare Nursing Home. I volunteered at St. John's Anglican church helping with fundraising projects.
I Volunteer and did meals on Meals for the
Salvation Army.
I also Volunteer at the Temiskaming Lodge helping the residents.
I liked the Temiskaming Lodge was the best.

I have also worked mostly indoors; generally fast food establishments. I feel my rights were respected the most when I worked as a supervisor at SUBWAY. We were encouraged to report any potential health or safety violations, and were even pampered a bit by having a flexible schedule. The only concern I had working there was that there were no alloted breaks. Other than that, things were pretty good.

merry merry
We are taking a break today. In Canada, December 25 is a statutory holiday.
Statutory holidays are days designated by government to mark or commemorate some special occasion or event. Employees who qualify get a paid holiday. If they have to work they get paid extra.
If you have today off, have a great day. If you have to work, we hope that you get paid extra and enjoy the extra money.
